Sabin Duvert wants to directly connect.

Sabin Duvert: Sabin Duvert wants to directly connect.
Samantha Blaire is now directly connected.
Sabin Duvert: *Since recovering Arkoth's spellbook earlier that day, Mordath has been, once again, holed up in his room. He has spoken very little to anyone else, but the implications of what he has found weigh very heavily on his mind. Time seems to be racing forward - much as PurrPurr expressed, and he felt as if he were almost in a race to accomplish what he wished. IF this spell were real, then that could solve everything..... IF. And if not... everything he had achieved would be thrown out the window.
Mordath thumbed over a note that Sabin had slid unobtrusively under his door left by PurrPurr a while ago.... he felt so sorry for her - and it looked like her mind was finally made up. Regardless of his decision about the spell.... it would be good to see the Fey realm again... to catch up on what had been happening if nothing else, and perhaps even to make himself known to the right people. Now that he was no longer a child.
Samantha Blaire: ((she asked him to contact her))
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath sighs, looking between the book and the note again, and then finally nods resolutely and begins to pack. It feels strange... heavy. The concept of returning "home"... somewhere very familiar and nostalgic to him - that holds so many memories both good and bad... and yet a place he had never actually laid eyes on before. Casting a quick spell on a bag, he began loading it up with things - spellbooks, his diary, clothing... all of them fitting inside a space that looked not nearly large enough to contain them - and weighing only a fraction.
Finally, he turned to Tslanak with an enigmatic smile. "It's time to go."

Samantha Blaire
: Purrpurr paces outside Fa'e HQ, the place she promised to meet Mordath, her heavy bag on the ground next to her.
Samantha Blaire: She has tear stains down her cheek, and she looks incredibly nervous and unsure of herself, avioding eye contact with everyone as they come in and out of the HQ, and praying Kamiki or Morion doesn't show up
Sabin Duvert: *Before leaving, he made one more stop. By Sabin's room, his adopted "Father". The words were relatively brief, though very heartfelt... and not something that this entry is meant to record. Mordath promised that this would be a quick journey - and that Sabin would see him again. He had things that he needed to do - and he was at a wall of what more he could do in this realm without at least first an excursion to Fey. Finally, he wrote out a long letter, and instructed Sabin to please give it to Kalindara and Astaroth... and with that... he walked out.
Sabin Duvert
: *He walked slowly and surely to the appointed meeting place with PurrPurr, a small bag over his shoulder, and dressed in the finest robes he possessed, Tslanak following loyally by his side*
Samantha Blaire
: Purrpurr smiles half-heartedly to Mordath as she approaches, the dread welling up in her chest as she suddenly has a wave of doubt spread over her
Sabin Duvert: *he nods respectfully as he is seen* Milady..... are you sure you are prepared for this journey?
Samantha Blaire
: "No," she answers truthfully, pulling awkwardly at her black laced dress
Sabin Duvert: *he nods slowly* There... are many forces at work.... And I know how hard it has been for you here, PurrPurr....
Sabin Duvert
: However...
Sabin Duvert
: It does not mean it will be any easier there.
You are no longer directly connected to Samantha Blaire because the connection has been interrupted.
.
Sabin Duvert: Here there is only the interaction between us few... no worry about the courts, or espionage or the like.
Sabin Duvert
: I offer this merely as a warning. From my estimates it must have been centuries since we were gone
Sabin Duvert
: And I do not know what might have transpired in the interem.
Samantha Blaire
: She nods, wiping a tear from her face. "I feel like I am doing nothing here anymore... but waiting to die."
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath looks down and then nods slowly* So be it...
Sabin Duvert
: *his voice trails off*
Sabin Duvert
: However.... *he draws a book from somewhere in his robes*
Sabin Duvert
: I found this today.
Sabin Duvert
: It was Arkoth's Diary.
Samantha Blaire
: She looks over to him, curiously
Sabin Duvert: It speaks of many..... interesting things... and I thought that you should know....
Sabin Duvert
: *mordath tells her what he discovered this afternoon*
Samantha Blaire
: She listens, taking deep breaths. "I'm scared.. but I feel its what has to be done...don't you?" she asks uncertainly
Sabin Duvert: *his brows furrow* By what do you mean? The travel... or the spell?
Samantha Blaire
: "I...I dunno. Every journey begins witha step, no?"

Sabin Duvert: Indeed it does...
Samantha Blaire
: She looks around nervously for other Fa'e
Sabin Duvert: But what do you think about the spell....? *he trails off, his better sense getting to him*
Samantha Blaire
: "Damn it, Mordah, I don't know!"
Samantha Blaire: "Okay?! I don't know anything right now!"
Sabin Duvert: *he sneers and waves his hand dismissively*
Sabin Duvert
: Fine then. we will go and observe, as planned.
Sabin Duvert
: I intend to return after I have surveyed the status.... *he draws an object out of his bag - it appears to be a hand mirror, though finely crafted, and hands it to her*
Sabin Duvert
: You can contact me through this.
Samantha Blaire
: She takes the mirror, looking it over. "How long are you going to stay??"
Sabin Duvert: If you need to leave quickly... or if you need to contact me with information. I can reach you through this as well.
Sabin Duvert
: I do not know.
Sabin Duvert
: I will let you know before I leave.
Samantha Blaire
: She takes a deep sigh and nods.
Sabin Duvert: *he nods to her, and takes her hand with one of his, and begins to chant. Almost immediately she can feel energy prickling around her, and then washing over her. Mordath seems to glow with energy - and yet at the same time she cannot tell if there is any visible light or if it is just the sensation of power as he opens his channel to his magickal reserves deep within. He closes his eyes tightly in concentration, the chanting that began as a whisper growing louder and louder until it seems to boom in her ears, in her mind and she begins to feel disoriented. Time begins to get confusing. How long has she been like this? A few seconds...? A few hours? She feels nauseous and her vision gets blurry... and then fades to black slowly.... Then, there is a rushing sensation - colors stream through her mind, the breath is siphoned from her, and she tries to scream but has no air to do so. Then, finally with a WHUMP sensation, the world seems to materialize around her once again - feel long before sight... as slowly colors seem to coalesce around her - so bright and vivid! Finally, the colors seem to jumble, and then finally form identifable objects - grass... flowers... the sky... clouds.... and ... then, far in the horizon, a grand citiscape.
Sabin Duvert
: *Mordath opens his eyes and draws in a gasping breath as he wavers on his feet, grasping at Tslanak for support*
Samantha Blaire
: ((this is where I want to stop- until her pic is posted ^^ ))
Sabin Duvert: ((Oki))
