Sabin Duvert: Hiya :-)
Anya!: GLOMP!
Sabin Duvert: =^^=
Anya!
: I GOT HIM DONE!
Anya!: Now ... RP RP!
Sabin Duvert: really??
Sabin Duvert
: Aweome :D
Sabin Duvert
: yis ^^ - I can't wait to see how he turned out :3
Sabin Duvert
: lemme run to the restroom really quick :-)
Sabin Duvert: back
Sabin Duvert
: okie - I updated my journal a bit with stuff leading up to this
Sabin Duvert
: what do you want to do to start this off?
Anya!
: It's up to you. Can you just tell me what he has been up to thus far again? *i didn't read ^^;;;*
Sabin Duvert: it's fine
Sabin Duvert
: to start it off
Sabin Duvert
: apparently silver split himself up into his vairous previous incarnations, and he was found by the one that was his familiar - which gave him the piece of information that it was HIM that locked away his own memories - in both his personal rememberances, and in his diary/spellbook (the book is magical, and the words form on the page that he is looking for - so it's not just like a physical lock he can't open_
Sabin Duvert
: IT was a very powerful spell that he himself cast, and that spell, along with any wardbreakers are locked "off limits" in the book
Sabin Duvert
: he's been trying to break the spell/lock - but no success... and he realizes he needs help
Anya!
: I see. Ok. Good. How's he gonna get in contact with Airi?
Anya!: *sneaky*
Sabin Duvert: hrmmm... Probably come to Anya
Sabin Duvert
: shall we start then?
Anya!
: Sure
Sabin Duvert: alrightie
Anya!
: Anya is in the HQ
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath finally gets up the courage, after realizing that he can't do this by himself, to look for help. Thinking about those he knows, what they know, his thoughts turn to Airi... the one who seemed to have all the answers.... whether or not she would choose to share them, he would have to see. He heads out to HQ, in search of Anya or Airi...*
Anya!
: Anya is in the HQ, drinking tea at the kitchen counter and reading a big thick dusty tome of some kind.
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath smoothes back his hair and slowly appraches her, clearing his throat* Anya...? Might... I ask something of you?
Anya!
: She looks up: "Sure. How's life?"
Sabin Duvert: *he smiles, a bit bitterly, but tries to mask it* Things have been.... ah... frustrating. I am attempting to follow my "path" as it was... but... I am having ... issues...
Sabin Duvert
: I was wondering if it might be possible to speak with Airi once more... I know that it is rare that she makes appearances, but... I ... *he looks a bit regretful* I might need her assistance..
Anya!
: Anya scratches her head: "Um ... why?" - she asks. Airi was a bit ... indisposed ... at the moment ... after Mortimer and all.
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath looks a bit confused at the reference, and scratches his arm* Well... I... I am seeking to seek to reclaim my past.... and... I have encountered a rather ... stody barrier...
Anya!
: "A barrier?" - Anya move the book aside. "Is it something you'd rather talk about in private? We can go to my office, if you'd like?" she then realized there was a cup in front of her, but not in front of Mordath: "Oh ... and would you like some tea?"
Sabin Duvert: *mordath smiles thankfully* Yes- tea sounds wonderful... and perhaps talking in your office would be more conducive to a more open talk..
Anya!
: Anya nods and closes her tome. On top of the tome she piles up her tea pot, two cups and a small saucer with cookies and nodds to Mordath to follow. Once theyr are in the office, she closes the door and motions Mordath to sit down in one of the two giant scarlet armchairs. It's dark in the office and and the windows are covered by drapes. Anya carefully picks up one of the cups, pours soem tea and gives it to Mordath. "Here you go. Well, speak up."
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath seats himself in one of the chairs, spreading his wings out elegantly to his sides, and takes the cup, breathing in the steam for a moment with a smile before taking a sip and raising his voice to a slightly louder whisper* Well... apparently I made a rather foolish decision in my past life... I thought, so it seems, that the events that I partook of were too painful to want to remember, and thus I have found out that the troubles that I have had in remembering were in fact due to a powerful spell I placed on myself before my.. *he hesitates a bit awkwardly* my death. I do not know what spell I cast, and I have been trying everything to lift it - but I have gained no more insight since I first began. If I wish to truly reach the power and the position of whom I was before - or to correct my mistakes - I feel that I need to unlock my past.
Anya!
: "Ah." - says Anya and takes a sip of her tea. So this one has decided upon his path. And he had good reason to wish to talk to Airi ... still ...
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath nods, a soft hint of a smile* I have indeed, my lady... I believe that eve before I knew of its existance, I knew the path that my life would take...
Sabin Duvert
: though... I fear that I need help breaking this barrier
Anya!
: ((she didn't say that, she just thought it ^^))
Anya!: ((did he just read her thoguhts?))
Sabin Duvert: ((doh- doh >< - I misread))
Sabin Duvert
: ((No he didn't - ignore that thenb ^^; ))
Anya!
: ((HAI!))
Sabin Duvert: *mordath looks at her with curious red eyes, a hint of need in them*
Anya!
: Anya takes another sip. 'Crud ...what to do what to do ... wait ... didn't Airi tell me that she wished to talk to all those who have chosen their path .. yeah!' - this memory cause the HQ caretaker to smile triumphantly and put her cup down. "Ok. We will go see Airi. But." - she put one of her index finger up. "Airi is very very very sick right now. Errr ... not sick really, but weak. You have to treat her with UTMOST CARE. If it's too much for her - then you will have to comeback later ... got it?"
Sabin Duvert: *mordath's eyes widen in elation at first, hopeful and excited.... and then more hesitant as he hears of the news* I... must be out of the loop.... you mentioned a Mortimer earlier... what... happened?
Anya!
: SHe spoke out loud again? Shoot ... she really should be paying more attention to this little problem of hers ... "Mortimer ... what? Errrr ... um ... I mean ..." - there was lot's of arm flailing. "You better ask Airi that, ok ? Ah ha ha ha ha ... yeah"
Sabin Duvert: ((Crap >< ))
Sabin Duvert
: ((I thought that was outloud too >< ))
Anya!
: ((np = you would have found out it anyway :P))
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath gives a hesitant wince and a nod* I... understand.... I will be very careful with the lady, you have my word
Anya!
: "Good. Now" - she grabbed Mordath's hand. "Now we shall go." With that Anya touched something around her neck and the two vanished. For a second it was dark and then Mordath foudn himself staring at a grey stone wall. He was standing in a dimly lit hall, inside a magic circle which was traced in red on the floor. Anya was standing next to him, but she had turned around and was lookig ant somehting behind them, still holding his hand. He felt a bit nauseated from the jump or whatever it was and his head was spinning.
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath groaned a bit in disorientation under his breath, surprised at the sudden, almost warning-less trip, and started to look about to discern where he was, and how exactly they got there - her pendant must have some sort of magical property to bring her ... them... here.... but where was "here"? "Thanks for the warning" *mordath groaned sarcastically*
Anya!
: Anya was amazingly unconcerned with Mordath's sarcasm. She had let og of his hand and hurried away into the darknes of the hall, to a small bed of white linen on which a girl was laying. Airi. She seemed to be asleepor maybe in some kind of a trance. Anya kneeled before the bed, and gently touched the neck of the girl, seemingly checking for a pulse. "My poor child" - she mutterd under her breath.
Sabin Duvert: *mordath's face wrinkled in concern seeing the lifeweaver like this, wondering who or what could have done this to her, coming quietly to Anya's side, knealing as well and straightening the fabric of his clothes* Airi...? *he whispered softly*
Anya!
: Anya looked up at Mordath, uncharacteristically touch about anything said or done in this room and in the presence of the pale girl. "She ... she will be with us, soon. Just ... just give her a moment." With that she carefully brushed Airi's hair out of her face and straightened the sheet the fa'e was covered with. There were red stains on the sheet around the place were, under it, Airi's hands were. Moments passed, quietly and then Airi's eyelashes twitched and her eyes opened slowly. She looked at the people by her side. At first she only saw Anya, and there was something in Airi's eye Mordath would not be able to grasp at that moment. Then she saw Mordath, and looked at him with a question in her eyes.
Anya!: touch - touchy
Sabin Duvert: ((*nod*))
Sabin Duvert
: *His brow was creased, and he felt... hesitant to see her like this - the girl seemed so frail when he last saw her, and yet radiated a feeling of wisdom and ancient power. Seeing her like this seemed wrong, and painful for him, knowing how important a role she played in both his and all of the fae's' lives.*
"Airi...? I... am sorry for disturbing you like this.... Anya... said you were weak, but I did not know how much.... " *he feels sheepish now, to demand her presnce now*

Anya!
: Airi smiled, but didn't move. Anya put her hand on Mordath's shoulder and said to him, quietly: "She cannot speak yet. But she understands everything you say ... ask you questions ... ok?"
Sabin Duvert: *mordath nodded quietly, and whet his lips* You... have told me of the paths that we must choose between... my path was very clear to me - as it seems to be what I have always sought - that of reclaiming my previous power, and fixing the mistakes I made before - succeeding where I had failed.... however I do not think that I can reach that point without the knowledge firsthand of who I once was.... those... memories were locked away from me at the end of my last life by a powerful spell that I myself cast. Now... because of that ... "curse".... I cannot reclaim them to move on my path.... *he sighs* I... came to seek your help, my lady....
Anya!
: Airi smiled again, and closed her eyes. Anya touched her neck woriedly again, but then ... Mordath felt a touch, a very gentle touch almost ... inside of him. A melodic whisper was inside his head. Again ... a disconcerning feeling for somebody who has never felt it. "You have chosen your path. I am proud of you. How ... how may I help?"
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath's eyes widened as Airi "spoke" with him, feeling her warmpth inside of him. He glanced quickly to anya, trying to look a bit reassuring to her and then he closed his own eyes, placing a hand gently on top of hers, before concentrating his thoughts back to her* <I... seek a way to remove this barrier inside of me - I have tried every spell that I know to do so.... and nothing has been succuessful... I was hoping... you with your knowledge might be able to do more than I...>
Anya!
: There was silence at first and a warmth spread thru Mordath's very soul, as if something ... or somebody ... filled him with light ... then Mordath felt Airi's whisper inside of him again. <I see the barrier. It holds back darkness. The seals of magic upon it are strong and ancient. But ... it is only magic. My power is older and I can unlock this barrier. Still ... do you truly want to see the darkness inside?>
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath seemed to feel his soul lift, his hopes* <You can truly remove the barrier...?> *he held this warmpth to him, feeling it course through his body. <I am prepared to face this darkness.... I know that I held bitter emotions, pain, and loss.... but at least I am prepared... this was long ago, and I have been here long enough that I feel that I have a new life to build them onto - to dull the pain and move forward with it. I need to find a harmony between who I was... and who I am in order to reach my potential. I cannot do that with most of who I was - my memories - locked from me. I am prepared.>
Anya!
: <I understand. Open your eyes and take my hand from under thsi sheet. There is blood on my wrist. Press my hand against your forhead so that my blood can touch your skin.> Then the warmth inside of him seemed to have concetrated around his head.

As Mordath opened his eyes, he saw Airi, laying there, motionless, and Anya, staring at him, full of worry.

Sabin Duvert: *Mordath swallowed, and nodded again to Anya before gently pulling back the sheet to reveal her bloody hand, taking it carefully between his own hands, and bending forward, drawing her palm to his foreheand and bringing it against him, his heart fluttering*
Anya!
: As the blood touched his forehead, it burned. There was a whisper again, still soft, but this time not gentle. It commanded <Eteria ign abile uta ... Sangus akhalia est ... Celhali astrate si regalitiaris sangus ... Sangus akhalia oimiru ...> and then the warmth inside Mordath was gone. A dark flood of memories and pain, doubts, betrayal, bitterness, lust, power and loss rushed over his very being. Unable to hold on, he let go of Airi's hand and collapsed onto the stone floor, a darkness enveloping him. Anya rushed between Airi and Mordath, unsure whether to protect Airi from Mordath, or Mordath from himself or what. As the darkness around the f;ae teen finally took shape, he was older - a youth.
Anya!: ((i am going to go D/L the pictures now ^^))
Sabin Duvert: ((:D ))
Sabin Duvert
: ((should I wait to respond then? ^__^ ))
Anya!
: sure ^^
Sabin Duvert: ((okie ^^ ))

Sabin Duvert: ((0.0 Oh WOW! Anya that ROCKS~!))
Anya!
: ((^^ worked all day onit today :P))
Sabin Duvert: ((*HUGS* it turned out Awesome! :D :D :D ))
Anya!
: ((*hugs back and jumps around with Sabin*))
Sabin Duvert: *Emotions rush into mordath like a waterdam had just broken that had been holding them all back - they course into his body, filling him with so many conflicting, painful emotions. While he knew "the facts" before - it was nothing like this - with a horrid epiphany he realized just WHY he had felt they were too painful to deal with - in that life or any following, he falls backwards to the floor, balling into a fetal position, as a scream built - starting out as the strangled whisper and building to a full-voiced scream*
Sabin Duvert
: *feelings of love, of loss, of so much pain - betrayal and then the crashing down feeling of the errors of his ways - his horrid mistake and all the pain he had caused those around him. There was a moisture on his cheeks but he could barely feel it due to the chaos that his mind was in*
Anya!
: Anya, realizing that Mordath needed more help for right now and that he was, in fact, still Mordath, just bigger, rushed to his side. In a simple motion she hugged him and held onto him so that he wouldn't thrash around too much. She had no clue what just happened. No clue at all. But Airi was laying there with a smile on her face and that made Anya hope that all was good.
Sabin Duvert: ((I just have to say again how much I love the piece ^__^ - and I love the design on his forehead - and how the "spots" in the hair have started to take a rather arcane-look to them - it would be neat if that's elaborated waaay in the future in his adult stage :3 ))
Anya!
: ((Ooooh - I liek that idea! I just might ^^))
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath was breathing raggedly after his scream finally died down, his eyes wild and rolling about widly yet apparently seeing nothing - his muscles tense against her arms, and that cracking energy and hints of a powerful dark aura secreted within him now seems to be radiating from him with an almost tangible aire, his wings quivering.... and then he begins to bable an incoherent string of realization - his loss of Titania, his failed spell - the pain of himself and others, loss... bitter loss.... He couldn't find a way to fix things.. had to end them...
Sabin Duvert
: ((*Grins* I do too! I just through of it looking at the spots :3 - heck, if you wanted it could be a progression eve before that - but tis up to you :3 - I think it would add a really unique look ^^ ))
Anya!
: ((it really would - and it fits with his dark mage concept :P))
Sabin Duvert: ((yes! ^__^ ))
Anya!
: "Shhhh ... it's good ... shhhhhh ... you are here ... you are not the darkness ... it's the past ... shhhhh" - Anya was holding the darkskinned man on the floor, gently brushing the scarlet hair and rockinghim back and forth. Poor child. So sudden and so much to deal with ...
Sabin Duvert: *Mordath vaguely heard Anya's words coming to him from the darkness, the past... the past... his mind seized on those words, squeezing his eyes shut he tried to focus on that.... the "past" seeming so much more real to him at first - the final moments, the madness and desparation seemed so real... so much more real - the life so much longer - dominating over the boy that had quickly grown relativley happily in this lifetime.... but... graduatlly, the aura anya felt began to settle, focing himself to concentrate... the past... the past... the PAST... images of Sabin, of PurrPurr, Raeith flashed in his mind.... of Astaroth....
He took a deep, shuddering breath as the chronology started to straighten itself out in his mind... reality settled in...*

Anya!
: As the shivering subsided and she felt Mordath's frantically beating heart calm down, Anya let the man go and stood up. Then she walked up to a chest standing at the foot of Airi's bed and took out a pristinely white sheet on linen. With a simple motion she put the sheet over Mordath's shoulders and wusheled his hair. "How are you doing?"
Anya!: ((btw _ gotta go in 15 minutes :P so let's wrap up ok? Please post this in your diary, ok?))
Sabin Duvert: *he slowly got to his feet, still breathing quickly and staring down at the ground, but doing much better than he was a momnet ago when the feelings were released. THings now were locking into place -unanswered questions - faces and names and friends and enemies - feelings and goals, bitternes.... and pain.... he slowly swallowed, putting a hand to the sheet wrapped around him, letting it envelop him physically and emotionally. Slowly, he seemed to find his voice again... however... while still soft and dulcet, it no longer was a strained whisper, but a full-timbred voice* Th.... thank you.... I.... *he shook his head, wiping the hair from his face* everything... makes sense... so clear.... but my god.... it's... it's so much... *he looks towards Airi's bed, a faint smile coming to his lips as he nods respectfully before turning back to anya, taking her hand for stabilization.* "I... I want to go home.... please...?"
Anya!
: Anya nods and puts her fingers around Mordath's hand. Then she touches the talisman on her neck and there is the dsconcering feeling of separation. And then they are standing in Mordath's room. Anya let's Mor go and smiles: "You should rest. And I should let you rest. I will tell Sabin, ok?"
Sabin Duvert: *he smiles weakly and sinks down onto the bed, Tslanak looking up in alarm at his master's sudden return.... noting immediately the change of age and power* Thank you..... I ... am sure he will be... worried...
Sabin Duvert
: *Exhausted, Mordath lies back down against the piillow - still not aware of his physical changes - emotionally drained*
Anya!
: "Maybe, but I think he will also be proud. Now .. rest" - with that Anya leaves, closing the door behind her.
Sabin Duvert: *He smiles softly, his eyes sliding closed and welcoming the blissful sleep...*
Sabin Duvert
: ((^___^ - Thanks so much!))
