With less then a wisp of wind, it began to rain quite a
bit on that day. Kamiki Kitsune sat quietly curled up on the sofa of that big
house. Her tail flicking contently as she read a book she had found from
Sabin’s library. Her eyes twitched when a slamming of a door had broken the
silence of the house. Sabin Duvert walked slowly in, and rested his eye on the
vision of his lover. The fireplace quietly crackled as he spoke.
“Where’s Gavin?” He sat down in the nearest chair, and
turned his gaze to that fire. Stress had been so current lately, especially
since his son Gavin had been born, but with parenthood, stress is a major
factor.
“I believe he’s upstairs, why?” Kamiki snapped the book shut,
she had really hoped to not be disturbed.
“I believe he’s been terrorizing some of the local
children. When will that boy ever learn?” Sabin stood up straight, and turned
towards the main hall. Kamiki knew exactly what he was meaning to do, and rose
with him, gently grabbing at his arm.
“He’s only a child, and those traits are as much yours as
his. Leave him alone, at least for tonight. He seemed rather...upset when he
arrived home today..” With those words, Simon strode in, in fox form, and
jumped lightly onto the sofa where Kamiki had previously been relaxing, and kept
his eyes on the two. Gavin Duvert, the son of Kamiki and Sabin, had been in his
room for hours. He laid o his bed, his eyes closed, and his ears twitching, as
he could barely hear the two conversing below him. Yes, he was a bit of a
trouble maker, but he’s not evil. His ranting and sarcasm were only part of who
he was. After all his father is part Anju.
